The CWD Asset Management System gives you the ability to easily catalog assets with a barcode that has been affixed to the item.

Barcodes can easily be purchased online from several different manufacturers. The main thing you want to look for is durability, so the barcode or any adjacent text cannot be easily obscured.

Asset barcodes can be ordered with sequential numbers with a start value such as 1000 and then incremented by one up to the quantity of barcodes that you want to purchase.

After you have tagged your items, you can use this application to take photos of the item, scan in the barcode number, and assign the item to an individual and location. You can optionally enter an initial starting monetary value for the item.

After your inventory has been established the application will allow you to audit inventory by scanning the barcodes with a handheld scanner Bluetooth connected to your tablet or laptop.
